Title: I (don't) feel safe

Welcome to the 8th piece of the Living Archive of Survivorhood of Trauma.

Below is a selection of works from our Arts Collective created in response to this month's cover.

and my reflection spoke futurepast

unshackled from a shadowed drum:

who are you?

find the inner child

lost in sunken skin

encumbered by false prophecies

help the boy whose laughs hurt

smashing stained glass tapestries

seeing all as threat

and speak these words

i am whole

face me

and speak these words

i               am                whole

step forward unbound

into the dark

no longer faceless voiceless

but black bold bright

and i woke
